Nomination Blok 65 Gouden A.A.P

ARCAM, Architectuurcentrum Amsterdam, has announced which construction projects are eligible for the Amsterdamse Architectuur Prijs 2011, also known as the Gouden A.A.P. 2011. Both Blok 65 A and Blok 65 B on IJburg have been nominated.

ARCAM will make an inventory of all projects that are submitted within the Amsterdam municipality boundaries in 2010. The 25 projects that achieve the highest architectural level will be selected for the prize. These projects will be described and illustrated in full colour in the Amsterdam Architecture 2010-2011 (ARCAM POCKET 24) book.

The announcement of the winning architect, commissioning body and the presentation of the book will be made mid April. The prize will be presented by Wiel Arets from Wiel Arets Architects, which was the winning architectural firm from the previous competition with their design for the Vier Torens accommodation complex in Osdorp.
