Sub-plan De Tuinen 1 phase 1 is located in the most northerly area of Wilgenwende. The range of housing offered consists of 39 single-family homes, 12 semi-detached houses and 1 detached house. Topos Architecten designed the houses while BAM Woningbouw is responsible for construction.
In addition to the houses there are 14 free plots available which vary in size from 380 m2 to 560 m2 with prices ranging from € 245,000 to € 342,500 with no additional costs payable by the purchaser. A number of the plots have now been sold and the owners can start building their own houses in December. Wilgenwende is situated to the south of Dordrecht, close to the Biesbosch and has good connections to the city centre and access roads. Approximately 600 housing units in different styles and price classes will be constructed in phases. The new residential area is part of Dordrecht municipality’s structural vision and is compatible with the plans to expand the city with a green, urban residential environment. Sustainable energy system
Heat pumps combined with thermal energy storage systems are an option for the houses’ energy systems. The ground is used as an energy source for these sustainable facilities. The heat pumps provide the houses with heating in the winter and cooling in the summer in an environmentally friendly way via pipes under the floor. The use of thermal energy storage systems means that energy costs are significantly lower, the indoor environment is healthier and living comfort increases.
