What makes De Havenmeester unusual is that almost all residents profit from both the sun and the fantastic views. The complex’s unusual structure and architecture ensure that almost every property is on a corner.
Amvest developed De Havenmeester entirety at its own risk and expense. We commissioned Ballast Nedam to build the complex while Lingotto was responsible for project management. Amvest showed with De Havenmeester that it is a reliable developer by realising a difficult project on an awkward site within the agreed time.
De Havenmeester was handed over in 2007. The complex consists of 117 rental properties including 66 luxury apartments, 3 penthouses and 48 units for starters. In addition to this, 112 parking spaces and 3,000 m2 of commercial space was also realised. The complex plays a key role in the neighbourhood. The ground floor contains commercial premises and a sport school, café-restaurant and office space. The first floor contains studios that provide accommodation for mainly young people while above these are private sector rental apartments for people of all ages.
